You are invited to take part in the 2012 Sutton Primary Schools Cycling Championships. The event will be taking place on Monday 19th March 2011 in 2 sessions. 10am - 12noon and 1pm - 3pm approximately. Winning teams from this round will then be able to take part in the final on Tuesday 27th March 1pm - 3pm.

The heats and final will consist of three elements:      

1. Skills and Road Safety Quiz

2. Time Trial/devil racing

3. Cross Country Race

Plus this year there will be a cycling limbo challenge and also led cycle rides around the grounds.

Each team will consist of three members, one for each of the elements.

Schools can enter more than one team. (2 teams maximum *PLEASE ENTER TWICE ONLINE IF YOU WOULD LIKE 2 TEAMS)

At least one team member must be a girl (except in the case of single-sex schools).

Children will be from school years 5 and 6.

The team scoring the least points will be the winner. In the event of a tie, the team doing the best in the Road Safety Quiz will be the winner.

Sutton Cycling Club, British Cycling and Smarter Travel Sutton will be offering an array of prizes including the chance to cycle at the Herne Hill velodrome!
