Sutton Primary Schools and Secondary Schools stormed the National Street Dance London regional heats with 3 different schools qualifying for the National Schools final this weekend in Blackpool.
Rushy Meadow Primary School put together a fantastic routine and saw them beat 7 schools to first place!
Carshalton High School for Girls had one team enter in the year 7 - 9 category which saw them qualify as winners of their age group, with also one pair qualifying for the year 7 - 9 duo competition. The other 2 girls teams were in the year 10 - 13 category with one team finishing 5th and the other 2nd - both qualifying for the finals.
Carshalton Boys dance squad - 'Emperium' put together an athletic routine which saw them finish in the 3rd place still qualifiying for the Blackpool finals. They also entered 2 pairs into the dup competition and finished in 3rd and 1st place! The first place team Kwasi and Tyler now get to represent Carshalton Boys on Saturday 3rd December.
Both schools are in for an early start on Saturday 3rd December as the coach leaves Sutton for Blackpool at 4.30am. GOOD LUCK TO ALL OF THE TEAMS TAKING PART!!!

Yesterday was the first Sutton Sport Partnership Cricket tournament of the year and it stayed dry! Three schools took part in the competition so played a round robin format, the results were as follows:
