The Annual Asda Kwik Cricket Festival was held at Sutton Grammar School’s Northey Avenue playing fields on Wednesday 26th May. 6 Teams from across the John Fisher SSP arrived hoping to be the ones taking home the trophy.
The 6 teams were split in to 2 groups ready to begin the tournament, where the Sutton Grammar School Year 10 Young Sports Leaders took over as Umpires and Scorers.
Whenever a team was not playing they were treated to a master class in a number of cricketing skills again from the Sports Leaders.
Congratulations to all of the teams who took part in the competition and made it a very enjoyable day for all involved. A big thank you also goes out to Mr Hewitt, Mr Waller and Heidi Mallard for all their hard work in helping to organise this competition.
